Mycophenolate mofetil-cellcept
"Mycophenolate Mofetil" is the Drug / Molecule content in “Cellcept”. Cellcept belongs to class of dug- immunosuppressive (lowers body's immune system) which act by inhibiting an enzyme needed for the growth of T cells and B cells. Human body may "reject" an organ transplant when the immune system treats the new organ as an invader. An immunosuppressant helps to prevent this rejection.
Indication
Cellcept is indicated for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal, cardiac or hepatic transplants. Mycophenolate Mofetil also used in the treatment of autoimmune disease, such as behcet's disease, pemphigus vulgaris, systemic lupus erythematosus and refractory incomplete lupus erythematosus
