DOCETERE contains drug / molecule “DOCETAXEL”. It belongs to a class of taxane. It interferes with microtubules, which are part of the internal structure cells. This leads to cell death. Cancer cells divide faster than normal cells, they are more likely than normal cells to be affected by this drug.

Indication

Docetere injection is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat certain types of breast, lung, prostate, stomach, and head and neck cancers.

Severe hypersensitivity reactions, neutropenia, liver impairment might be observed.
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
