Iressa-geftinat
Iressa contains drug / molecules called “Gefitinib”. It belongs to a class of anti-cancer medication called Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It works by targeting the mutant protein in the cancerous cells and that is how it destroys the cancerous cells.
“Geftinat” is the generic version of "Iressa" and both contains same drug “Gefitinib”.
Indication
Iressa is used for the treatment of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and other cancers.
