Tykerb-herduo
"Tykerb" contains the Drug / Molecule “Lapatinib Ditosylate”. Tykerb belongs to a class of medications called tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Tyrosine kinase is protein on the surface of a cell which sends the signals. Lapatinib blocks the signals from the tyrosine kinase. By blocking the signals they stop the growth of those cancer cells in body.
Indication
Tykerb is used together with another medicine called capecitabine or letrozole to treat a certain type of advanced or metastatic breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

- Tykerb is a prescription drug and should be used under proper medical guidance and advice.
- Tykerb may cause a condition that affect the heart rhythm.
- Tykerb is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It may harm an unborn baby. Therefore, it is important to prevent pregnancy while taking this medication.
- Tykerb may cause Liver Damage
